As we all know, 31st May is observed as Anti-Tobacco Day, and taking an initiative under this cause, the Pulse Society team stepped forward to spread awareness in the Kacchi Basti area near the factory zone, where many workers and labor families reside.
We decided to create change in a unique way — through their own children. ❤️
A Nukkad Natak (street play) was prepared with 13 wonderful children, who practiced tirelessly for an entire month. Through their performance, these children tried to send a heartfelt message to their own parents and families, encouraging them to quit gutka and tobacco and understand its harmful consequences before it is too late.
📍 On 18th May 2026, at Shyam Chowk, Kacchi Basti, behind Ram Mandir, Jaipur, this awareness program was successfully conducted.
After the street play, the awareness session was continued by Dr. Lavesh Pandey, a valued member of Pulse Society, who explained how tobacco can severely damage oral health and increase the risk of mouth cancer and throat cancer.
The most beautiful part of the session was that people didn’t just listen — they interacted, asked questions, and came forward with curiosity and concern. Many appreciated the initiative and encouraged Pulse Society to continue organizing such awareness programs in the future. 🙏✨
Every child who participated was honored with a Pulse Society Certificate to motivate them and encourage them to continue participating in meaningful social initiatives and awareness campaigns. 🏅❤️
And because hard work deserves celebration too… these amazing children will be taken on a joyful visit to Ramniwas Bagh on Thursday, 21st May 2026, as a small gesture of love and appreciation from Pulse Society. 🌸🌳✨
